What is Somatic Breathwork?
Somatic Breathwork is a guided practice using intentional breathing to support nervous system regulation and deepen awareness of your internal experience.
In this class, we use a three-part breath a steady, continuous rhythm that gently shifts your physiological state and creates space for both activation and settling.
You’ll be:
Breathing to music to support rhythm and emotional flow
Guided with intentions and prompts
Given time for integration and optional sharing
There’s nothing to force..
just space for your system to unwind, reset, and return to balance.
This class focuses on working with the breath as a bridge between the body and mind.
Through the three-part breath, we support:
Emotional release and processing
Nervous system regulation
Increased body awareness
Movement of held tension or “stuck” energy
Greater clarity, presence, and connection
The breath also supports physiological shifts that are associated with:
Lowered heart rate and blood pressure
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved regulation of cortisol (stress hormone)
Increased access to states of calm and relaxation
Working with the Body & Energy Centers
This practice also invites awareness of the body’s internal landscape, including areas often described as chakras or energy centers.
Rather than approaching this concept abstractly, we use it as a way to:
Notice where you feel open or restricted
Track sensation and emotional response in the body
Support a sense of flow, grounding, and connection
The focus remains on direct experience, what you feel, notice, and integrate.

Why Breathwork?
We are living in a time where stress and anxiety are deeply impacting overall health.
According to the American Psychological Association, many adults report high levels of ongoing stress
Research highlighted in Harvard Business Review suggests a large percentage of doctor visits are stress-related
The World Health Organization has identified anxiety and depression as leading causes of disability worldwide
Stress also impacts how we breathe. Over time, many people begin to use less of their lung capacity, reinforcing patterns of tension and dysregulation.
This class offers a consistent way to interrupt that cycle and build a different relationship with your body and breath.
Potential Benefits
Reduced stress and anxiety
