David D. Clarke, MD

Gastroenterologist

Doctor David Clarke, expert on psychophysiologic, mindbody and chronic pain disorders

David is President of the Psychophysiologic Disorders Association. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology Emeritus and Assistant Director at the Center for Ethics at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where he teaches psychophysiologic disorders (PPD) to Internal Medicine Residents. He is also a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine and practiced Gastroenterology in Portland, Oregon from 1984 to 2009. During that time he diagnosed and treated over 7000 patients with PPD.

His book for patients with psychophysiologic disorders is called They Can’t Find Anything Wrong! David lectures on PPD frequently throughout North America and Europe and he has appeared on over 100 TV and radio broadcasts. His website is StressIllness.com.

David B. Kudrow, MD

Neurologist, Headache Specialist

Doctor David Kudrow, expert on headaches and migraines in Los Angeles

David is a board certified neurologist with a specialty interest in headache disorders. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.Sc. in biological sciences and from the University of Southern California School of Medicine with an M.D. David did his residency training and fellowship in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.

David has published several articles in peer reviewed journals, written book chapters on headache and lectures extensively to doctor groups on headache disorders. He has participated as principal investigator in over 130 phase II and III migraine studies.

Howard Schubiner, MD

Internal Medicine

Doctor Howard Schubiner, expert on chronic pain and mind body disorders

Howard is is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine and is the Director of the Mind Body Medicine Center at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He is also a Clinical Professor at both Wayne State University and Michigan State University School of Medicine. He has authored over 60 scientific publications and lectures internationally. He has been included on the list of the Best Doctors in America since 2003.

His books for patients with psychophysiologic disorders include Unlearn Your Pain, Hidden From View, and Psychophysiologic Disorders: Trauma Informed, Interprofessional Diagnosis and Treatment.
