I have extensive experience working with couples, helping partners deepen connection, navigate conflict, and strengthen emotional bonds. I also support families navigating challenges like divorce, parenting, and blended family dynamics.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in economic consulting in New York and Los Angeles. In my free time, I enjoy being in nature and spending quality time with my family.

Therapy With Me

I’m a psychotherapist who takes a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach to support meaningful change and emotional growth. My work draws from psychoanalytic and somatic therapies, integrating tools from attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Central to my approach is the belief that the client-therapist relationship is the cornerstone of effective treatment.

By fostering a secure, empathetic, and collaborative therapeutic alliance, I create a safe and supportive space where you can explore deep-seated emotions, relational dynamics, and unconscious patterns.

I strive to create an inclusive and affirming space for all clients and offer therapy in both English and Portuguese.

Somatic Therapy helps to discharge Survival Energy and Reduce Chronic Symptoms such as Pain & Discomfort

My Treatment Approach

Psychotherapy can help you understand yourself at a deeper level, find greater purpose, and move through obstacles that keep you from reaching your goals. Through our work together, you’ll move toward a more integrated, fulfilling life, and foster healthy, meaningful relationships.

In addition to my relational approach, I incorporate nervous system regulation practices into therapy. I teach you to be with challenging sensations without bracing, allowing energy to shift and release rather than accumulating. Over time, your window of tolerance expands, and your nervous system naturally spends more time in a parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) state.

I help you unburden original traumas that may still live on as hypersensitivity to threat. Together, we’ll meet and befriend the protective parts of you that may overreact or shut down, helping these parts to calm, work together, and support your vitality.

Through this work, you'll develop a personalized toolkit to manage symptoms going forward. As you stop fearing your symptoms, they lose their power — and often, symptoms naturally recede into the background as your life comes into fuller view.
