  • Depression

  • Family dynamics and relational challenges

  • Stress and emotional regulation

I work with individuals, children, adolescents, and families on a range of issues including:

I specialize in helping clients heal by restoring mind-body connection, processing trauma, and exploring the impact of family systems and environments. I have extensive experience working with children and families, integrating expressive arts, play therapy, and attachment-based methods into my work.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education and brand strategy, teaching visual art to ages 2–18 in Los Angeles schools and working in advertising agencies in New York and Los Angeles. I also spent several years traveling and exploring wild places. Outside of therapy, I enjoy making art, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature with my family in Santa Monica.

Therapy With Me

I offer a compassionate, integrative approach to therapy, bringing warmth, curiosity, and creativity into each session. I tailor my work to your unique needs, drawing from modalities including somatic psychology, psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, family systems, mindfulness, expressive arts, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and play therapy.

Currently, I am in the three-year Somatic Experiencing training program, deepening my body-based approach to healing trauma and chronic stress. My work is grounded in helping you understand unconscious patterns, restore your connection with your body, and gently explore the relational and environmental factors that have shaped you.

Clients often share that they feel both supported and gently challenged in our work together - finding space to grow with tools, insight, and care along the way.

Somatic Therapy helps to discharge Survival Energy and Reduce Chronic Symptoms such as Pain & Discomfort

My Treatment Approach

Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with your body’s natural rhythms and heal from the effects of trauma and chronic stress. I teach practices that support your nervous system in moving toward regulation, or homeostatic balance. These practices help you stay with challenging sensations without bracing, allowing energy to shift and release, rather than accumulate.

Over time, your window of tolerance expands, and your nervous system naturally spends more time in a parasympathetic, “rest and digest” state as you navigate life.

In our work, we will also explore and unburden the original traumas that live on as hypersensitivity to threat. Together, we meet and befriend the protective parts of yourself that may over- or under-react, helping these parts to calm, work together, and support a more vital and resilient way of being.

You’ll build a personalized toolkit to manage symptoms with confidence. As symptoms lose their power, many clients find that their lives naturally come back into focus.
